Supplies: Watercolor Paper, Polka Dot Parade designer series paper, StazOn Black Ink, Framed Tulips embossing folder
Cardstock: Pear Pizzazz, Marina Mist
Markers: Island Indigo, Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz, Pistachio Pudding, Blender Pen
Stamp the flower from the Barkyard Basics stamp set in the StazOn ink onto the watercolor paper. Color the image with the markers using the blender pen as needed. Stamp greeting with the StazOn ink. Emboss the Pear Pizzazz card base with the Framed Tulips embossing folder. Add a strip of the polka dot paper and a square. I lined the envelope with another piece of the designer paper. When adding a envelop liner, only glue the top strip of the paper so it doesn’t wrinkle when opening and closing the envelope. I think lining the envelope adds a nice finishing touch to this card project.
Notice how nicely the paper is trimmed perfectly to fit the envelope? Well I didn’t cut it with scissors to achieve that perfection. Nope, I cut the liner using the new Stampin’ UP envelope liner framelits. I’m not allowed to show or sell these framelits yet but I can show you this project using them and tell you that you’ll be able to purchase them when the holiday catalog goes live in August.
