This card is fast and easy to make.
Stamp the flowers and leaves with versa-mark onto white cardstock. Then add clear embossing powder and heat. Use a brayer to roll the ink color of your choice. I used Regal Rose. After finishing with the brayer I used a damp paper towel to wipe the excess ink off the embossed images. (If you skip this step, you will end up with ink on your hands… ask me how I know!) Stamp the outlined flowers with Black Staz-On ink.
The Garden Green card was embossed using the Vine Street Embossing folder which was featured in the 2013 Sale-A- Bration flyer.
The greeting is made by stamping the border with the Basic Label stamp in Garden Green ink and then cutting it out with the coordinating Basic Label framelit. The greeting “Hello” from the Hello stamp set was stamped in Regal Rose ink.
The little accent flower was punched out of white cardstock and then dropped into the Regal Rose inkpad.
I was actually just trying to add a little ink around the edges when I dropped it onto the inkpad. When I tried to pick it up, I accidentally pushed it into the inkpad instead. (sigh and argh!) But it turned out to be a happy accident as I liked the flower better. I added a yellow brad to finish it off and to attach it to the label. I often tell my stampers that accidents are just opportunities to change the card and it was certainly true this time. J
Until next time, Happy Stamping!
