It’s too bad that this photo doesn’t do the card justice. It really is quite pretty. Here’s how to make it.
|Smoky Slate||Lovely as a Tree
Greetings of the Season
|Chevron, Smoky Slate 3/4”
|Decorative Label Punch
|Silver Glitter (scraps for trim)
Smoky Slate (5-1/2“ x 11“, score at 4-1/4“)
Whisper White (3-3/4 x 5 and scraps for greeting)
- Ink and stamp the trees one time more towards the left side of the cardstock. Lift and move the stamp up and to the right and stamp a 2nd time. This adds some depth perception to your card and the illusion of more trees in the distance.
- Use 2-Way Glue Pen to add glitter to the trees and ground. Add a 2nd layer of glitter to some of the ground areas.
- Stamp the greeting and punch with the Decorative Label punch. Punch out 2 end pieces of the punch from the Silver Glitter paper. Glue onto the ends of the greeting.
Use tape runner to adhere the chevron ribbon to the trees’ card and glue onto Smoky Slate card. Tie a piece of the 1/8” silver ribbon near one end of the chevron ribbon. Use dimensionals to attach the greeting to the other end of the chevron ribbon.
